March Insights: Preparing for a Memorable Season at Yosemite Bible Camp

As March unfolds, the dedicated caretakers of Yosemite Bible Camp are bustling with activity, gearing up for the highly anticipated Memorial Day barbecue and the 2025 camp season. The air is filled with excitement and energy as preparations are underway to ensure that this summer will be unforgettable for all campers.

While we can’t reveal every detail just yet—after all, some surprises are best discovered in person—we’re eager to share some of the improvements that have already taken shape around the camp. One of the most significant updates is the installation of a brand-new roof on the girls' dormitory, providing enhanced safety and comfort for our campers. Additionally, we’ve opened up several areas to create more usable space, allowing for greater interaction and enjoyment among campers. Small updates to the Ramada have also been made, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for those staying in the facility.

Over the past couple of years, Yosemite Bible Camp has seen numerous improvements, all thanks to the generous donations from various groups and individuals. These contributions have been instrumental in transforming the camp into a vibrant environment where campers can thrive, explore, and create lasting memories. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NASB), “Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” We are deeply grateful for the cheerful support that has helped us grow.

However, our journey of growth and enhancement is far from over. There is still much work to be done, and we are committed to making Yosemite Bible Camp a nurturing and inspiring place for generations to come. Psalm 127:1 (NASB) reminds us, “Unless the LORD builds a house, They who build it labor in vain.” We trust that with God’s guidance and the support of our community, we can continue to build a place where faith and fellowship flourish.

As we approach the Memorial Day barbecue, we invite you to join us in celebrating not only the hard work that has gone into preparing the camp but also the spirit of community and support that makes it all possible. We look forward to sharing more surprises, stories, and smiles as we embark on another exciting camp season together. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for your continued support of Yosemite Bible Camp!

In the spirit of unity, let’s reflect on Philippians 1:3 (NASB): “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you.” Your contributions and prayers mean the world to us and help us foster a loving environment for all campers. Together, we are building a legacy of faith and community that will last for generations.
