About the Friend of Yosemite Bible Camp

The Friends of Yosemite Bible Camp (FYBC) was established on April 12, 1986, when a gathering of 23 women convened at the camp premises. Following a shared meal, the inaugural meeting took place, marking the inception of this esteemed group.

Since its formation, the FYBC has expanded its membership and solidified its role as a cornerstone of support for Yosemite Bible Camp. Through financial contributions, event organization, and fundraising initiatives, the FYBC has played a pivotal role in bolstering the camp's operations

As Christians, we realize the importance of YBC for our young people - a place where they can learn about God and be with other young people. We thank God for the vision of the men who started Yosemite Bible Camp.

The role of the FYBC is to provide support to the camp in their
endeavors to engage with the numerous children and teenagers who enter
the gates of YBC. Our commitment to this assistance is demonstrated
through the organization of three primary events. These include a
sponsored breakfast and boutique during the holiday season, a pie
auction and boutique at the Memorial Day BBQ, and a boutique
exclusively featured at the Ladies Retreat. Regular meetings are
convened 2-3 times per year, with officer elections held during the
September/October session. Additionally, we are actively working on
arranging craft days at the Lemoore congregation, extending an open
invitation to all interested individuals to participate on those
designated Saturdays.
